TD Ameritrade,
Brand Building
I worked on the TD Ameritrade account for three years. Soon after I left, Charles Schwab bought the company for $26 billion. It's probably just a coincidence.
A brand's design system should be clear, consistent, and recognizable, right? Well, when I joined the account it was none of those things. Over the course of a year I worked with all of the company's stakeholders and designed a uniform system across all consumer touchpoints.
I was hired to oversee the brand's website content and design. That morphed into designing the entire brand's monolithic marketing and advertising design system. And finally to writing national TV commercials and helping direct a docuseries.
The above is just a sampling of all the work that I created during my time on the brand, which was a formative experience in working on all the different facets of advertising.
